Terms and conditions of the raffle
Eligible entrants
The raffle is open to members and non-members of The Irish Draught and Sport Horse Society (Australia) Inc.
(the Society) who meet all of the following criteria:
Number of permitted entries
There is a limit of 2,000 tickets available. All tickets are $10 each.
How to enter the competition
You can enter the competition as many times as you want by filling in the form above. All information must be completed accurately and in full. Incomplete or incomprehensible entries will be ineligible.
The raffle period
The raffle will open at 7pm (AEDT) and on Friday 24 March 2023 and close at 7pm (AEST) on Friday 16 June 2023.

There will be one winner and one prize as follows:

Disqualifying entrants
If an entrant acts in a manner in which the Society believes to be in breach of these terms and conditions, or acts in a manner to obtain an unfair advantage or adversely against the Society or Stubben, then the Society may disqualify the entrant, in which case they will be refunded for any tickets they have purchased.

- Reside in Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland or Tasmania

The prize details
There will be one winner and one prize as follows:
- Stubben Roxane jump saddle - 17.5” 32 gullet (wide) in Ebony (brown)
- Stubben Streamline Saddle Pad – white full size embroidered with the Society logo
- Stubben Streamline 3Spine Velcro Component
- The Society cannot guarantee that the prize will be suitable for the winner or their horse/s and the entrants must satisfy themselves as to the suitability prior to purchasing tickets.
- The Prize value is the recommended retail prices as provided by Stubben Australia and are correct as at the time of the raffle launch. The Prize value is in Australia dollars.
- The Prize cannot be substituted for cash or another prize.
Drawing the winner
- The draw will take place at 7:30pm AEST on the 16th June 2023 by way of Google random generated number selector, using live streaming on the Society Facebook page to announce.
- The winner will be drawn by a committee member and will be validated by a Solicitor, which may or may not be a committee member.
- The winner does not need to be present at the time of the draw.
- The winner will be announced by telephone email and social media.
- The Society may request that the winner provide evidence of their ticket/receipt and also proof of identity. The verification is at the discretion of the Society.
- If the winner does not acknowledge the prize with within 24 hours of being announced, or provide evidence of ticket purchase and verify their identity within 24 hours of being asked, then a new winner will be selected. The initial winner will have no further claims for the prize or against the Society.
- Once the Prize has been accepted by the Prize winner, the Society will send the Prize to the winner within 28 days of the raffle being drawn.
- By purchasing a ticket the winner agrees to be photographed with the prize, interviewed and have their name and photo displayed publicly on the Society website and social media forums.
Disqualifying entrants
If an entrant acts in a manner in which the Society believes to be in breach of these terms and conditions, or acts in a manner to obtain an unfair advantage or adversely against the Society or Stubben, then the Society may disqualify the entrant, in which case they will be refunded for any tickets they have purchased.
Disclaimers
- The entrant acknowledges and agrees that if the Prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Society reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value, subject to State and Territory legislation.
- The Society reserves the right to conduct a redraw in the event that an entrant, claiming to be a winner or qualifier, is unable to satisfy the terms or has breached the terms.
- The Society reserves the right to terminate or cancel the raffle, or modify the raffle period, should sufficient ticket sales not be met to cover the cost of the Prize.
- The Society has no responsibility to accept late, lost or misdirected entries.
- The Society, Stubben Australia and other organisers accept no responsibility for any kind of loss or liability suffered or incurred by the prize winner in relation to the Prize or the promotion. On accepting the Prize, the winner releases the Society, Stubben Australia and any other organisers (including their committee members, related bodies corporate, affiliates, officers, agents and employees, from all liabilities, loss and damage of any kind arising at any time out of or in connection with the acceptance of, and participation in, the Prize or the promotion. Without limiting the foregoing, the released parties will not be liable for any injury, sickness or death, property loss or damage or other direct or indirect loss or damage of any kind, howsoever sustained or incurred, in connection with or arising out of the Prize.
- The winner acknowledges that tax implications may arise from their Prize and they should seek independent financial advice prior to acceptance of the Prize.
- Nothing in the terms limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia.
